Minimum width floor space is equal to dimension "C" where dimension
"A" equals width of widest trimmed sheet plus two inches.

Paper Rolls:  Two (2) steel pipes turned and balanced, one adjustable to secure draw of sheet.
Slitter Board:  Cast iron, trussed and adjustable.
Slitters:  Number regulated by width.  Bottom double-edged band. Top, King or Koegle as desired.  Bottom front box supported on removal segment so slitters can be removed without removing shaft.  Swing arm slitter attachment for tissue furnished when desired, at an extra price.
Half Drum: Half segment, cast iron, trussed.  Option: Paper roll equipped with friction pulley.
Spreader:  Improved type, adjustable (prevents interweaving of rolls).
Drums:  15" diameter, faces grooved, running balance. Steel journals running in ring oiling boxes.
Winding shaft:  Standard, 2 11/16" round, equipped with collars for 3" pipe cores; other sizes to order.
Lift:  Chain with counter-weights, back gearing and handwheel.
Main Drive:  Flanged couplings on drums connected with two drive shafts equipped with plain and taper lock pulley respectively.  outboard and supported by floor stand and ring oiling boxes.  Plain and taper pulleys for basement or overhead counter with shaft, flanged pulley and ring oiling boxes. Flanged pulley with tightener for main counter-shaft--no shaft or other equipment.
Slitter Drive:  Floor stands supporting on dependent counter-shaft equipped with pulley to receive power from drive, friction clutch and belt drive to bottom slitter shaft.
Gauge: For determining diameter of roll mounted on front side.
Control: Front side by means of handwheel on shaft extending back to operate tightener.
Tool box:  On front side, preventing tools getting into "broke."

GREAT success wherever used because of it's simplicity and construction which eliminates interweaving of rolls.  Particularly successful in mills running at high speed on 9-inch diameter counter-rolls.  Sixteen repeat orders from one mill, nine from another and batteries of five from many others.  One of the outstanding successes in mill machinery.
