Demolition of Beloit Security building 

The Beloit Security Building and lunch room at the former Beloit Corporation Headquarters, 3rd Street and St Lawrence Avenue, Beloit, WI. has been demolished.  This was the gated main entrance to Beloit Corporation. As you entered the plant through the security entrance, the Wood Building was in the background and the Besley Building (the engineering entrance) was to the right.

These photos were taken on December 5, 2001 and forwarded to the Beloit History Project by by Art Goldsworthy of Paperchine.

To orient yourself, in the last photo, the gray building in the background is the entrance to the Besley Building where you would go into engineering.
