On December 17 Beloit Ironworks held its traditional Christmas party for

children of employees. The party was held at the Majestic and State Theaters.

Fourteen hundred children were in attendance.

The retirement plan became effective for all employees except foundry

employees as of January 1, 1955. Below is a list of those who became eligible

for pension benefits starting January 1, 1956.
