as a corporation with C. F. G. Collins as General Manager. |

Colonel H. A. Frambach and John Stovekin |
|
started the Frambach and Stovekin Mill. This mill |

was known as the Eagle Mill and was the first mill |
|
to install a pulp machine for grinding wood pulp logs. |

A. W. Pat t en started the Patten Paper Company, |
|
Limited, in Appleton, Wisconsin, turning out |
|
three tons of print, book, and manila paper per day. |
