Beloit Iron Works moved its foundry from the Third Street site |

to the Island Property. |

|
Mr. Fred Messer, president of the Beloit Iron Works, died. |
|||
|
Mr. L. B. Merrill was elected vice-president of the company, |
|||
|
Mr. Aldrich continued as secretary and general manager, Mr. N. J. |
|||
|
Ross was superintendent, and Mr. William Grinnell was treasurer of |
|||
|
the Iron Works. |

|
Company occupied the three-story pattern storage building. |
