Comments:

The wood shop of the Iron Works produced such equipment as wood

rolls, wood core gears and cogs, vats, headboxes, vat mixing boxes,

footboards, wood slices, friction clutch linings, wiping boards, etc.

The first 36" by 60"Farrel roll grinder installed in the Iron Works.

Fred M. Coones disposed of Rockton Paper Mill property in July,

at which time he moved to Beloit, Wisconsin, where he acquired owner

ship and management of the Beloit Boxboard Company.

The Nekoosa-Edwards Paper Company was formed by consolidating

the Nekoosa and Port Edwards Mills with the Centralia Pulp and Power

Company

Another Harper fourdrinier was added to Northern Paper Company's

other two machines.
